Directions to American Safari Ranch

From Breckenridge, Colorado
Drive 22 miles to the town of Fairplay.  Drive to the end of town (stoplight and T-junction).   Turn Left and drive about six miles until you see County Road #7. You will also see Blue Signs “Safari Ranch Resort“.  Turn Right and drive approximately 1.5 miles to the Ranch. Total Drive time about 45 minutes.

From Denver, Colorado
Drive approximately 65 miles to the town of Jefferson.  From here keep driving another 10 miles to County Road #7. (you will see Blue Signs “Safari Ranch Resort”.  Turn Left and drive approximately 1.5 miles to the Ranch.  Total Drive time about 1.5 hours.

From Colorado Springs
Take Hwy 24 to the town of Fairplay (83 miles).  From Fairplay keep driving through town past the stoplight about six miles to County Road #7.  You will also see Blue Signs “Safari Ranch Resort“.  Turn Right and drive approximately 1.5 miles to the Ranch. Total Drive time about 1.5 hours.

Yes, weddings at the ranch are fun and we leave the planning to you.  We offer great options including food, lodging, activities such as horseback riding, atv tours, and more.  Also have a full saloon, where your guests can unwind and have fun in a mountain atmosphere, on an authentic mountain ranch.

Yes, during the busy season June-September you will need to reserve your trips at least a week or so in advance.  Our cancellation policy is 24 hours.

All driver’s must have a valid driver’s license to drive their own vehicle.  Passengers must be ages 10-15 years old.

Ages 6+ can ride their own horse.  We will match your abilities and personality with the appropriate horse.

The ranch is located six miles north of Fairplay, Colorado.  29 miles south of Breckenridge, and 85 miles from Denver.  Please follow the directions on the website, or Google Maps.  Many GPS DIRECTIONS are WRONG so please follow the directions on our website.
